About Candidate
My name is Trent Blake. I am 24 years old, married, and have been a Christian for 13 years. Since then, wise men and women have helped me to grow spiritually and recognize the Lord’s leading into vocational ministry.
I am currently a student at Moody Bible Institute and set to graduate in May 2023. I’m also editor-in-chief for my own website, BaselineChristianity.com – where we seek to help you deepen and defend your faith.
I am also the author of the book “Does God Really Exist: 10 Arguments for a Maximally Great Being” and am currently working on six 8-week studies going through the basics of Christian doctrine for beginners.
You can find more about me on my website, here: BaselineChristianity.com/the-editor.

Education
This undergraduate program is unique in that it does not require any general education credits, only ministry ones. This enabled me to spend nearly all of the 120 credit hours studying theology and ministry, making this course comparable to a graduate-level seminary program.
Work & Experience
I served as the youth minister for a church in rural Tennessee for approximately a year and a half before returning to finish school. We had a youth group of about 40 students and saw many of them begin or grow in their relationship with the Lord. It was a sweet time and my wife and I still remain in contact with some of the students. Our time at LRBC came to a close in April 2022 due to differences in doctrine and philosophy of ministry.
