Lutheran Church of the Cross (LCMC) is located in Altoona, IA, a suburb of Des Moines, Iowa’s capital city. Our congregation is focused on multiplying practical faith – faith that makes a difference in everyday life. God has blessed us with a congregation that includes everything from young families to the golden generation, and strong ministries for all ages. Our vision is to focus on connecting people to God every day, connecting people to each other in Jesus-centered community, and connecting with the community that God has placed us in.
