Life Bible Fellowship Church began as a home Bible study in 1971 during the “Jesus Movement” sweeping through Southern California. But people kept coming to this small Bible study, and soon it wasn’t very small. We purchased our current property in 1978, which had initially served as a retreat center for Hollywood socialites. We worshipped for many years in the lodge (now The Garage) and then built our worship center in 1997. We now have a staff of over 25 employees and an average of around 800 congregants on Sunday mornings. Our mission statement is, “We exist to passionately pursue LIFE in Jesus and to lead our neighbors to do the same.” We believe in strong biblical teaching, consistent discipleship, and an authentic community.
