About Company
Foothills Church is a healthy, active, and growing evangelical church located in Cameron Park, California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Cameron Park sits on Hwy 50 thirty minutes to the east of Sacramento, and ninety minutes west of South Lake Tahoe.
Foothills Church began in 1990 and is part of “The Alliance” (Christian & Missionary Alliance). The Alliance is a movement of churches most concisely described as a “Christ-centered, Acts 1:8, family.” www.cmalliance.org.
Though we are a part of The Alliance, we function very much like a community church, and we reach into the foothill communities of Placerville, Shingle Springs, Rescue, Cameron Park, El Dorado Hills, and Folsom. All of these communities are within a ten-mile radius of the church.
As a local church, Foothills Church exists to connect people to Jesus and help them grow to love and serve him. All of our ministries seek to advance this purpose in the age groups they target.
