At Ranch Church we like to say that we are a redemptive community on an adventure with Jesus as He changes the world. We are a specific gathering of Gods church located in orange county CA. Ranch Church is called to reach the current and future communities of Ladera Ranch and Rancho mission viejo. We are a church plant out of Mariners Church in Irvine and Ocean hills church in San Juan Capistrano.

The worship Pastor is responsible for planning and producing Sunday morning worship services and other worship events. This role will require a constant pursuit of excellence both on and off stage, steady growth as a follower of Christ, leadership of people, and effective leadership of worship. 

This position is part time or full time and reports directly to the lead pastor.

Responsibilities
Recruit train and encourage leaders

Prepare, coordinate, and lead inspirational worship gatherings and ensure the addition of new and relevant worship songs/elements in our weekend services

Cast vision, monitor, and influence the musical direction and service production of Ranch Church to ensure it reflects the vision, values and goals

Recruit and train band members for services who exhibit a passion for authentic worship

Ensure that overall weekend worship services are effective and on target regarding content, style, structure and design to lead people toward a spirit of receptivity for learning and growth

Lead the overall production (including design, planning, staging and direction) of special worship services such as Christmas Eve, Easter, Children’s Sundays and other special programs as assigned

Ensure quality and excellence in front of house elements, live stream, set design, video production, and service timing

Create and manage processes and systems to ensure that service production is efficient, effective, and easily manageable with volunteer support

Recruit and empower volunteers to serve for scheduled programs
Maintain a strong network of relevant professionals (worship leaders, musicians, technical engineers, etc.)

Provide leadership and input regarding development, approval, management, and implementation of annual budget for areas of responsibility
