Job Description for Ranch KIDS Coordinator
Do you have a passion to help children grow in their faith and lead volunteers to do the same?  Are you looking for more experience and responsibility within the local church?  Ranch Church is looking for a paid, part-time Children’s Ministry Coordinator. This person will primarily help in leading our Sunday morning experience for kids. This person will report directly to the lead pastor and will help in making Sunday a great experience for our Ranch Church kids. We believe that loving kids well is one of the best ways for us to be in and for our community!

Primary Responsibilities

1) Lead a team of volunteers: 
Recruit equip and encourage volunteers to lead in all area kids ministry.
Send a monthly calendar to volunteers
Send weekly reminders and lesson plans to volunteers
Recruit new volunteers/ application process and background checks
Help lead, train, and inform new volunteers of their role
Help oversee classrooms on Sunday morning, supporting teachers and overseeing proper procedures.

2) Create an engaging learning environment for children on Sunday mornings (infants through 5th grade)
Plan out lesson series
Email lesson plans weekly to volunteers.
Communicate with the Elementary Coordinator
Make sure rooms are set-up and torn down properly each Sunday. Be on time and stay until volunteers have left.
Help to keep kids rooms organized and clean
Plan an appropriate craft for lesson
Print lessons and get supplies for craft/lesson
Occasionally clean/ restock supplies for kids rooms

3) Be a team player:
Attend worship service monthly, listen to messages online
Attend weekly staff meeting
Organize/lead special events
