SUMMARY (Overall Purpose of This Position)
The Worship Producer is responsible for the recording, engineering, mixing, and preparation of all songs and playback tracks for all events supported by the Worship Team and maintaining a level of excellence as defined by Element Church and its established standards. This is a full-time position that qualifies for benefits. The Worship Producer will report to the Worship Pastor.
Essential Duties, responsibilities, Accountabilities & Deliverables
The Worship Producer is required to perform a range of duties including, but not limited to:
· Serve as part of the Worship Team, assisting in all aspects of the Worship Team and its Volunteers. These areas of leadership include production, planning, rehearsals, worship service leadership, scheduling, and volunteer management for all weekends and events.
· Facilitate the building and organization of all musical elements for services and events
· Work with Worship Pastor to facilitate weekly set planning and song selection for services and events with Worship team
· Develop and manage live tracks and session files for all campuses
· Supervise musicians onstage during rehearsals and services at the Wentzville campus
· Share responsibility for the scheduling of musicians, contractors, and other team volunteers for all campus services and events
· Work with Worship Pastor to communicate with the production department on all information concerning live musical content and execution for services and events
· Own special music events at the Wentzville Campus (lobby bands, Fireside bands, etc)
· Oversee musical equipment: R & D, updates, purchases, and inventory
· Manage equipment maintenance and repair
· Assist Production department to manage and maintain Recording Software purchases and licenses in keeping with industry standards, including updates and upgrades.
· Work with Worship Pastor to recruit, develop, and lead team of musicians to do the ministry in each area of responsibility (Eph. 4:12)
· Model and represent a growing relationship with Christ.
· Lead various initiatives as assigned by the Lead Pastor and/or Executive Pastor.

Qualifications / experience required /Main Competencies
· Christian and general alignment with the Element Church statements of faith, Mission, and Core Values
· At least 2 years related ministry experience, ideally managing a high-functioning team
· Proficiency in Ableton LIVE, ProTools, or Logic Pro.
· Experience arranging, producing, and mixing for studio and live performance.
· Trustworthy and competent in interpersonal relationships
· Ability to play one or more musical instruments at a professional level a plus.
· Ability to develop team and leadership among volunteers in a growing and evolving church
· Demonstrated capacity for successful leadership in a ministry setting committed to excellence as defined by Element Church.
· Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and work under pressure
· A passion for worship, healthy team culture, the heart of our ministry, and loyalty
· Self-motivated with a professional demeanor, healthy amount of personal drive, adaptability to change, and a “whatever-it-takes” attitude
· Excellent people skills to build positive and effective relationships (High E.Q.)
· Demonstrated ability to take projects from beginning to end (concept to production to final mix)
· Organized and able to effectively manage time and resources in a multiple-project workflow
· Action-oriented and displays focus, passion, and initiative
· Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in audio recording, and production. (Live sound a plus)
· Commitment to improvement, openness to constructive criticism, and an understanding of his/her strengths and weaknesses.
· Effective visual, written, and oral communicator
· Reasonable tolerance for stress, fast-paced workflow, and tight timelines
· Promotes and models the value of collaboration
EVALUATION AND COMPENSATION
· Performance evaluations will be conducted at least once per year. Compensation will be determined based on experience and evaluation.

Salary: $45,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
