Job Description
The Project Manager plays a vital role on the Communications Team at Fielder. This position consists of multiple roles, including project manager, translator, and assistant. As project managers, they will ensure all project requests move through the design/production process. They will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our vendors, available to assist Fielder Ministries with large print projects, and making sure all campus slides & print pieces are up-to-date. As translators, they will be responsible for the accurate translation of documents, projects, and any other communication. They will assist the Communication Director. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in organization, project management, and translation.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Create project plans from requests. Communicate timelines.
Input and monitor projects based on priority and available resources.
Design & print badges (staff, kids hope, children’s volunteers, children’s camp)
Input all projects to our graphic design service platform.
Gather any missing details for project requests from Fielder Ministries.
Manage relationships with vendors. (Esix, Metro Mailer, Church Banners, etc.)
Track all internal & contract graphic jobs and print, vendor jobs. Ensure all tasks are completed.
Prep & proof design layouts before sending to vendor.
Ensure slides at each campus are up-to-date.
Create in-house print projects for staff retreats, signage, printed surveys, etc.
Adjust graphics when necessary.
Be available to assist, or print, large in-house print jobs.
Ensure necessary production supplies are well stocked.
Ensure print material at each campus is current.
Be able to translate projects into Spanish (if necessary). And ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone.
Assistant duties for the Communications Director.
QUALIFICATIONS
Be a devoted and growing follower of Jesus Christ.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to handle concurrent tasks.
A thorough understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Acrobat.
Comfortable uploading & downloading files from DropBox.
Proficient at using OptiSigns.
Possess the ability to create content from scratch, demonstrating a strong eye for typography, color, layout, and overall design.
Understand the required formatting needed for banners, booklets, business cards, tri-folds, bookmarks, merch, etc.
Proficient with computers.
Familiarity with Microsoft Suite (Planner, Teams, OneDrive, Outlook, etc.).
Familiarity with ClickUp.
Excellent proofreading skills with the ability to identify grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors in both English and Spanish.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
2-5 years experience in project management.
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Fluent in Spanish is required.
