Worship Leader

Job Description

Lizella Baptist Church, Lizella Ga, 31052 is looking for a Worship Leader to partner with us as we lead people to a relationship with Jesus Christ. We are seeking an experienced Worship Leader who is passionate about using music and worship to connect people with Christ. This person must be a team player with the ability to lead others to complete our mission to reach, disciple, and serve people of all ages in middle Georgia through worship ministry. You must have a history of building teams, help foster a friendly working environment, and be willing to do life as a family of believers who are led by Jesus Christ. We are looking for someone who is called to lead in worship, gifted with musical talent, and ready to take our worship to the next level through the latest sound and media technology and equipment.

Tasks include:
Oversee planning of weekly musical service in cooperation with Lead Pastor, including but not limited to song selection & service flow
Create practice tracks for weekly rehearsals for band/vocalists
Recruit and train volunteers for all worship-related positions, creating an environment of team unity
Meet regularly with team members to develop, train and cast vision
Collaborate with other departments to disciple and build student worship team

Qualifications:
Follower of Jesus
Gifted musician able to lead vocally and instrumentally to lead congregation into authentic and sincere worship
Confident/comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people
Ability to use MS Office Suite, ProPresenter, & PlanningCenter software
Model the standards of Lizella Baptist Church as an ambassador of Christ
High attention to detail
Drive for excellence
Ability to work under pressure, showing grace and mercy
Ability to relate to a variety of people

Desired Abilities:
Video editing experience
Graphic design
Social media management
Audio/Visual Tech expertise
