The Campus Pastor serves as the lead pastor and the “face” of Pathway Church at the Moon Campus. He is a high-capacity leader who builds teams to ensure the success of the local campus. Success is defined as a growing ministry that fulfills the vision of Pathway Church by being and making disciples of Jesus Christ — worshiping, growing and serving. The pastor will work to equip God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ will mature spiritually (Ephesians 4:11-13). The ministry of equipping is primarily a ministry of the Word, of prayer, and of modeling the Christian life (Acts 6:4; 1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). The ministry of equipping is also a ministry of leadership (Hebrews 13:7,17) and management/oversight (Acts 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:7) of the church’s ministries, resources, and spiritual life.
