Purpose:
To lead and oversee all aspects of worship and youth ministries
Qualifications:
*Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a Christian or Bible College (Masters or Seminary level not required): Major in Worship Arts/Music and/or Youth Ministry
* Minimum 4 years experience in Church Worship and or Youth Church Ministry
* Musical ability to lead worship in either piano/organ/guitar/ and voice
• A clear and inescapable sense of calling to serve the Lord in the local church
• A desire to work with a staff team in harmony and unity as we seek to fulfill Ephesians 4:11-13 in building up the body of Christ
• Ability to create and lead worship services that beautifully incorporate the treasured songs from our past with the newer expressions of praise from today
• A love for youth and an ability to teach and lead them toward the goal of becoming fully devoted followers of Christ

Responsibilities:
Worship (15-20 hrs a week)
• Lead worship for all regular and special services for the church
• Develop worship services that encourage people of various ages, ethnicities, and spiritual backgrounds to participate in worship
• Recruit, train, and oversee the schedule of people to serve in the worship and tech teams
• Coordinate with the Senior Pastor in preparing worship services
• Oversee all media, technology, and stage needs for the worship center
• Assist other ministry areas in securing technology to support their worship and media needs
Youth (10-15 hrs a week)
• Lead and oversee all aspects of the student ministries for youth in grades 6-12, college age adults. This includes but is not limited to the following:
• Sunday Morning Bible Study: Sunday School
• Midweek youth service: Wednesday night
• Vacation Bible School, Camps, Retreats, and other events
• Outreach events designed to bring students to Christ
• Fellowship opportunities for youth to build relationships
• Create a strategy to disciple students into maturing followers of Christ who can be disciples who make disciples.
• Develop and lead a leadership team for the student ministry
• Build relationships with students and their parents
• Create and manage a budget for the youth ministry
• Identify, recruit and train volunteers to serve in the youth ministry
Pastoral
• Model a mature, personal walk with Christ
• Support the vision and strategy of the church as set forth by the Senior Pastor
• Assist with hospital, home care and outreach visits
• Maintain a reputation in the church and community that brings glory to God
* Have regular office hours, two days off each week
• Fulfill other duties as needed by Senior Pastor
Comes with a house provided (parsonage) all utilities paid, plus full health insurance. Salary is negotiable
