Want to serve on the frontlines? We are convinced that California has a significant impact on the culture of the entire nation. Visalia is a city of 150,000+ and growing. It is 2 -3 hours from both beaches and mountaintops. Visalia is located in the central valley and the culture is rapidly changing. Christians are moving out of the state in the “California exodus”, while many from the coast of California are moving inland and bringing with them a secular and post Christian culture. This means the mission field is coming to us! Over 50% of our county belong to the “nones” as in no religious affiliation. As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;” (Matthew 9:37)
In the past decade The Fountain has shifted to be a more outreaching body, while growing more doctrinally solid. We have a solid base and new families despite experiencing a season of post covid change. With our long-time worship leader recently retiring, and our Next-gen pastor feeling called to another opportunity, we are looking for someone who can join our mission, lead our worship and youth in a full-time combo position.

We are a small to medium size congregation, with post covid numbers averaging under 100 in person and 20+ online over the course of the week.
Sermons are typically chapter by chapter, verse by verse expositional style. Post covid we combined two distinct worship styles into one service. Since then, our worship has been mostly contemporary with a closing hymn and occasional, more classic, solo. We are multigenerational and multiethnic and often partner with a Spanish speaking church that rents our building for events like our VBS our combined good Friday service.
